The Fifth Annual
Congenital Heart Defect Awareness Day
Winter Sports and Fun at the Pottle Tree Farm
 

Saturday, February 17th we held our Fifth Annual "Congenital Heart Defect Awareness Day "Winter Sports & Fun" at the Pottle Tree Farm in Perry Maine to increase awareness of Congenital Heart Defects and raise funds for families affected by CHD's.  This year we had our largest turn-out with over 100 winter enthusiasts.

Conditions were wonderful for skating and hiking this year. We had the labyrinth and a sacred fire available as a way to remember Jim Pottle and Seamus Duffy and others affected by congenital heart defects. This year we also had horseback riding and a scavanger hunt.

Proceeds (over $3,000) were donated to the Devon Nicole House, Precious Hearts (Gift Baskets) and Camp Meridian (sponsored 2 campers).
